Job Summary:

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a highly skilled Junior Software Developer to join our Automotive software V&V (Validation & Verification) team. As a Junior Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing test infrastructure for system testing of real-time embedded applications running on NXP devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Integration and System Tests and Infrastructure for demo applications
  • Integrate with various CI/CD/CP systems
  • Continuously improve existing test and measurement infrastructure to support new product requirements
  • Work with development and test teams to understand current industry trends and customer needs

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Python, Red-Node, POSIX compliant shell scripts, NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW, networking protocols/application is an advantage
  • Experience with development of embedded software in C language and debugging on hardware
  • Basic electrical engineering knowledge including knowledge of industrial automation (Modbus, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, DC power supplies, instrument control)
  • Willingness to learn additional automotive communication protocols, microcontroller architectures, and real-time operating systems
  • English level A1/A2
