Reporting to the Shift Supervisor and/or Operations Manager, the Project Cleaning Specialist will be tasked with executing various general cleaning services at designated commercial client locations. This includes the setup and dismantling of events, carpet cleaning as required, and other specialized projects. The role also involves providing guidance and support to assigned Helpers while assisting as needed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Below is a list of essential duties and responsibilities associated with this position. The tasks and the time allocated to each may vary based on business requirements. ServiceMaster Clean reserves the right to adjust job duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Daily Office/Supervision Duties
  • Review daily work orders and communicate with other team members as necessary
  • Check routing and directions for each job as required
  • Review tasks assigned to the Connect team
  • Inspect materials and equipment needed for scheduled jobs to ensure they are in good working order and loaded onto company vehicles before departure
  • Create requisitions for materials and equipment required for pickup at the end of each workweek
Client Site Duties
  • Complete tasks to specifications to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage work assignments within allocated units and ensure that materials and equipment taken are documented on work orders
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets ServiceMaster standards and customer expectations
  • Facilitate customer inspections of completed jobs, request customer sign-off on satisfaction forms, and process payments for services rendered
  • Address re-service requests promptly and courteously
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in achieving customer satisfaction
  • Provide training to Helpers to ensure all jobs are completed according to specified guidelines
General Duties
  • Maintain all equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition
  • Keep the interiors of vehicles and all utilized equipment neat and clean
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business and services offered, advising the Operations Manager as necessary, qualifying jobs to be completed, and building client confidence
  • Attend weekly meetings with the production team
  • Participate in training workshops as required for the production team
  • Assist in training new crew helpers/technicians in accordance with ServiceMaster standards
  • Exhibit professional conduct and appearance in all client-facing activities
  • Establish positive relationships with fellow staff members
  • Deliver an exceptional level of service that exceeds client expectations
  • Conduct all work in compliance with company safety policies
  • Adhere to all company workplace policies
  • Perform additional duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS - A valid driver's license is required

Education Required: High School Diploma

Work Experience Requirements

Work experience required: Minimum of two (2) years in cleaning services. Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.

Job-related experience required: Two (2) years in a supervisory role is preferred.
