Qualifications

  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role
Work Environment

This role is set within a hotel, motel, or resort environment, where attention to detail is paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
  • Advise on or arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or the replacement of furnishings and equipment
  • Assist cleaning personnel in their duties as needed
  • Coordinate cleaning schedules with other departments
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the cleaning team
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position involves supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.

The Cleaning Supervisor will also provide training focused on diversity and cross-cultural awareness to foster an inclusive work environment for newcomers and refugees.

Support for Youth and Indigenous Workers

Training will be provided to promote a welcoming atmosphere for youth and to enhance cultural competency among all employees, ensuring a supportive environment for Indigenous workers.
