About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our Environmental team in Burnaby. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for independently managing a variety of environmental investigation projects, including Phase I and II ESAs, detailed site investigations, and remediation.
Key Responsibilities
- Project planning, implementation, and coordination of fieldwork;
- Review of project budgets and expenses to ensure good project performance;
- Preparation and review of reports for due diligence investigations and submissions to regulatory bodies;
- Proposal preparation for clients, demonstrating skills and abilities to develop positive business relationships;
- Management of provincial and/or federal contaminated sites assessments, site remediation, and risk assessments;
- Supervision of junior and intermediate professionals;
- Experience with hazardous material surveys/mitigation projects is considered an asset.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of environmental consulting experience in BC;
- University degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Geoscience;
- Professional status or designation (P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag.);
- Team player with strong written and communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a high-demand, fast-paced environment;
- Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle;
- Business development skills.
What We Offer
The salary range for this role is between $104,000 to $138,000. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
