About the Role

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Edmonton, AB office within the Oil & Gas Canada business unit. As a key member of our projects team, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects in Oil & Gas, pipelines, and refinery infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement civil engineering designs and solutions for EPC projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
  • Manage and coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely project completion
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in the province of Alberta
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering and design in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
