We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Armstrong Top Pack. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, invoicing clients, and performing various clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable: Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Invoice Clients: Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Perform Clerical Duties: Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing and record systems, perform general office duties, and provide administrative support as needed.
- Prepare Financial Statements and Reports: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in accounting or a related field is an asset.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and accounting software.
- Area of Specialization: Accounting.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation is required.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and repetitive tasks.
- Personal Suitability: Ability to multitask, accurate, excellent oral communication, organized, and quick learner.
