About the Role

Empower Simcoe is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Support Professional III to join our team in Barrie. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support with personal care, household duties, meal preparation, and finances
  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support individuals to participate in community activities and events
  • Collaborate with the support team to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Document and maintain accurate records of individual support plans and progress
Requirements
  • Developmental Service Worker diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of direct work experience in the Developmental Services Sector
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Valid class "G" driver's license and reliable transportation
