Job Summary

MCL Clean is seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our cleaning team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning supplies and services.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Assist cleaning staff in performing duties as needed.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in cleaning or facilities management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment with frequent interruptions.
  • May require occasional travel to off-site locations.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
