Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Active Approach Health & Wellness Centre. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals seeking mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with a range of mental health concerns
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and other approaches as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including chiropractors and massage therapists, to provide integrated care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community partners
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of psychology

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited program
  • Registered or Candidate Registered Psychologist in good standing with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (NSBEP)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for providing patient-centered, evidence-based care
