We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
- Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation
- Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements
- Post journal entries accurately
- Compile statistical, financial, and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns and trial balances
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
Focus on Accounting practices.
Work Environment- Security: Basic security clearance required
- Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Accurate and reliable
- Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
