About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Care Worker to join our team at Collins Family. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to our clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Exercise and Activity: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical health and well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Work in the employer's/client's home, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, initiative, judgement, reliability, patience, and a strong work ethic.
