Your Role:As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing confidential counseling, case management, and direct clinical services to our clients. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless support and programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver EFAP services and other clinical services as assigned, including assessments and treatment planning.
- Provide quick and effective telephonic assessments for clients experiencing a range of issues, including emotional health concerns, family matters, work-related stress, and crisis situations.
- Develop personalized strategies to empower clients to manage their challenges effectively.
- Collaborate with the Stay at Work Clinical Management team to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide support for suicide or other risk prevention interventions.
- Maintain established service level targets and contribute to a positive work environment.
We seek a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist with a strong commitment to client well-being.
Qualifications:- Master's degree in Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology.
- Registration, in good standing, with the relevant governing body (e.g., Social Worker, Psychologist, Marriage & Family Therapist, Canadian Certified Counsellor).
- 2-3 years of clinical experience working with a diverse range of mental health and situational issues.
- Experience in solution-oriented and/or cognitive behavioral short-term therapies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and build rapport with clients.
- Strong research and resourcefulness skills to locate and access emergency and community resources across Canada.
