Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to take charge of the maintenance operations related to our facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of our buildings, machinery, and vehicle fleet. The selected candidate will be responsible for organizing workforce efforts, overseeing repairs, and managing janitorial services, while also tracking maintenance costs and repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate maintenance personnel for all operational tasks.
- Implement and manage a Preventative Maintenance Program (PM) for facilities and equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with machinery and facilities as needed, overseeing all repair and installation activities.
- Maintain an inventory of essential parts for facility and machinery upkeep.
- Collaborate with external vendors for repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance, ensuring compliance with all necessary health and safety documentation.
- Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting trust, teamwork, and innovative solutions.
- Prepare and document daily maintenance logs and progress reports.
- Monitor expenses and manage the maintenance budget effectively.
A minimum of a High School Diploma is required. A Licensed 433A Industrial Millwright designation is preferred. Candidates should possess three to five years of relevant experience in a similar capacity. Proficiency in using hand tools is essential, along with basic computer skills.
