Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
This position is set within a dynamic restaurant environment, where teamwork and communication are key to success.
Key Responsibilities- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Present bills to customers and process payments through various methods including cash, credit or debit cards.
- Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience.
- Offer guidance on menu selections to assist guests in making informed choices.
- Maintain cleanliness by clearing and sanitizing tables, trays, and chairs.
- Provide recommendations on wine selections to complement meals.
- Welcome patrons, present menus, and respond to inquiries regarding food and beverages.
- Efficiently serve food and beverages to guests.
- Accurately take orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar staff.
- Assist clients and guests with special needs to ensure their comfort.
- Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
- Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting as needed.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet setups.
- Maintain cleanliness of the establishment by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
