Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Whitehorse Restaurant Limited Partnership o/a Boston Pizza. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by advising on wine selection, making drink recommendations, and taking beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
  • Inventory Management: Store beverage and food products in a clean and organized manner, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Preparation and Service: Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard, and serve them to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Work Environment

As a Bartender at Whitehorse Restaurant Limited Partnership o/a Boston Pizza, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
