Job Title: Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Worker to join our team at Greater Vancouver Youth Unlimited. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young people in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide education and support to young people, focusing on their personal growth and development.
  • Work independently to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of our youth.
  • Utilize efficient interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Lead and participate in team meetings and activities to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of programs that promote youth engagement and empowerment.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate and support young people.
  • Experience working with youth an asset.
