Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team at the Government of Saskatchewan. As a key member of our infrastructure support team, you will be responsible for providing construction and renovation services in various locations throughout the province.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct, repair, maintain, alter, and/or renovate structures, buildings, and offices both internally and externally in various locations.
  • Fabricate, install, and maintain interior and exterior doors, fire doors, windows, wall panels, cabinetry, and other miscellaneous items as required.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to ensure customer needs and project assignments are completed promptly, safely, and efficiently.
  • Travel to various locations throughout the province as required.

Requirements

  • Valid Journeyperson Carpentry Certificate.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Several years of related trade experience.
  • Knowledge of occupational safety standards and the theories, principles, and practices related to the carpentry field.
