About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer - Full Stack to join our Internal Applications Team at CARFAX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting over 30 critical business applications in areas like Finance, Product usage, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy complex enterprise-level applications using Java and/or Python.
  • Work in a dynamic, agile team environment to build and maintain business-critical systems in commerce, finance, and billing domains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and industry standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to ensure seamless integration and testing of applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a full-stack role.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and/or Python, with experience in object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Experience with building web services and APIs using REST or GraphQL.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with testing tools and frameworks like JUnit.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines and tools.
