Overview

The role involves providing Project Management assistance to the Finance Division. This includes collaborating with team members to identify their requirements, overseeing the execution of implementation strategies, and coordinating testing for IT initiatives.
Additionally, the position offers support to Finance personnel utilizing Oracle Financials, Business Object, and Head-Office reporting systems. This entails liaising with the IT department for enhancements and aiding in the creation, modification, and updating of automated reports for the Finance Division.
It is also essential to maintain the application referential (signature authority). The Associate will report directly to the Head of Projects & Administration.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Act as a liaison and advocate for Finance users in various projects.
  2. Develop financial applications under the guidance of the Head of Projects & Administration, utilizing development tools such as MS Office, SQL, VBA, and Python.
  3. Provide support for financial applications including Oracle Financials, Leasequery, and Business Objects.
  4. Conduct application testing and document processes related to financial applications that are supported or developed.
  5. The ideal candidate should possess a foundational understanding of the operations within the financial division.
  6. Update and maintain the data referential in Oracle Financial.
  7. Coordinate with the accounting department to close monthly financial periods.
  8. Assist in the administration of the procurement tool for the Americas.

This position reports to the Head of Projects and Administration.
