About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our team at CN Railings Inc. as a General Labourer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to labouring and elemental activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Check and weigh materials and products, sort, pack, crate and package materials and products.
  • Assistance: Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers in their daily tasks.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Work Environment

The Labourer will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, handling heavy loads and working under pressure. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The Labourer must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a hot and dusty environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in the workplace.
  • Work Schedule: The Labourer will work 37.5 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
Personal Qualities
  • Initiative: The Labourer must be able to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Teamwork: The Labourer must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others.
  • Reliability: The Labourer must be reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of dependability.
