About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at PBTL Transport Inc. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain records of employee benefits and deductions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including statistical and accounting reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, as well as maintain records of tax payments and deductions.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
