Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Exterior Maintenance Crew Lead to oversee our cleaning and snow removal operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related cleaning services, leadership skills, and the ability to work at heights.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of cleaning technicians in cleaning windows, pressure washing exterior surfaces, and gutters at residential and commercial properties.
- Oversee snow removal operations during winter months and assist with snow removal when required.
- Coordinate, schedule, and provide training to cleaning technicians.
- Ensure worksites are safe before cleaning technicians commence their duties.
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and to the company's quality standards.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management to coordinate work activities and relay job-related issues and feedback.
- Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Prepare cost estimates and sell services to potential clients.
- Perform walk-throughs with homeowners.
- Work with clients to resolve any problems that arise.
- May assist with the hiring of staff.
- Prioritize quality work in a clean and organized manner.
- Previous related cleaning experience and proven leadership/supervisory experience is required.
- Experience working at heights.
- Experience using Excel, G-Suite, and working with a CRM.
- Customer service experience, and experience operating heavy machinery is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide training and guidance.
- Reliable, hardworking with a focus on upholding company quality standards.
- Positive attitude with the ability to problem solve and adapt as needed.
- Strong manual dexterity and agility is a must.
- Strong ability to kneel, reach, climb, and balance.
- Clean driving record.
- Must be bondable.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Wage: starting at $29.68/hour with $2/hr bonus after 2 months.
- Permanent, full-time position.
- Schedule: 4 x 10 hour days per week.
- Benefits: Extended medical and disability.
- Language of work: English.
