Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for Blumind's silicon-based systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into embedded systems, driving innovation and excellence in Edge AI.
- Architect and implement software frameworks for efficient data processing, device control, and communication protocols, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in AI.
- Conduct performance analysis, debugging, and optimization of embedded systems for reliability and efficiency, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards.
- Develop software and firmware applications to interact with Blumind's hardware and third-party interfaces, driving seamless integration and user experience.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of the overall AI solution, ensuring that it meets the needs of our customers and the market.
- Work directly with customers to evaluate the performance of their application solution on the Blumind HW solution, providing expert guidance and support.
- Develop debug and performance analysis tools for AI solution development, ensuring that our engineers have the tools they need to succeed.
- Play a key role in all phases of embedded AI software development, from requirement gathering to final release to customers, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards.
- Provide clear and timely communication related to status and other key aspects of the project to the leadership team, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned.
- Develop and maintain software documentation, including specifications, design documents, and test plans, ensuring that our knowledge and expertise are captured and shared.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in embedded systems and machine learning, ensuring that our solutions remain cutting-edge and innovative.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Experience with C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience writing Python scripts.
- Experience developing ML solutions using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Ability to read and understand board schematics and device datasheets.
- Ability to debug embedded software using Oscilloscopes and Logic Analysers.
- Experience with SCM tools (GIT or SVN).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-site team environment.
- 6+ years of experience with embedded platforms and embedded software development.
- Experience with embedded real-time operating systems.
- Experience with development on Windows and Linux.
- Knowledge of data structures and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of Acceleration platforms like GPU, TPU, APU, FPGAs.
