Job Summary
Menzies Aviation is seeking a dedicated individual to ensure smooth operations on the tarmac. As a GSE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining Into-Plane Fueling, gas & diesel trucks and GSE equipment, assisting with preventative maintenance tasks, and operating motorized equipment.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair heavy-duty equipment and machinery, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire maintenance.
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly entries of fuel transactions, quality control, and maintenance documentation.
- Comply with company safety and attendance management policies, as well as local and federal regulations.
- Work effectively with supervisory teams to ensure smooth operations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform basic math calculations and maintain organized records and documentation.
Requirements
- Valid Canadian driver's license.
- Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to lift and move up to 70 lb.
- Experience with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty equipment and machinery.
- Direct work experience performing heavy-duty equipment maintenance beneficial.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required Airport security pass and AVOP license.
