ÉTS - École de technologie supérieure is seeking a highly qualified Post-doc Researcher in Health Sciences to fill a prestigious Canada Research Chair in Health Technologies position.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct innovative research in health sciences and technologies, with a focus on health and well-being, diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitation tools, precision medicine, artificial intelligence, and connected health.
- Develop and lead a research program that aligns with ÉTS's Strategic Research Plan and contributes to the mission of the Health Technologies Research Institute.
- Collaborate with researchers, professionals, users, and partners to establish research orientations and priorities.
- Prepare the Institute's strategic plan for scientific programming, in line with the University's priorities.
- Provide scientific and administrative support in the preparation of large-scale grant applications.
- Promote the development of partnerships with the private sector and ensure dynamic relations with government bodies and funding agencies.
- Support the valorization of research and technology transfer to user communities.
- PhD in engineering in a discipline taught or related to those taught at ÉTS.
- Ability to teach in French, or willingness to learn the French language and engage in a French learning program offered by ÉTS.
- Outstanding research record, with a strong track record of publications and funding.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
