Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and caring LPN to join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care/Assisted Living Facility in the Vancouver Island region, British Columbia.

Contract Details

• Contract duration: 3-4 months (dependent on availability) with possibility of extension
• Short-term contracts also available

Duncan, BC and Ladysmith, BC

Compensation

$45.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments
• Plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to residents
• Administer oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
• Directly supervise care staff to meet resident's needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
• Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred)
