Position Type: Permanent part-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere within the library, ensuring it serves as a vital community hub
  • Engage with patrons to respond to their questions and provide assistance
  • Support users in navigating technological resources
  • Facilitate the efficient execution of transactions and activities in the Studio
  • Uphold library regulations with diverse clientele
  • Play an active role in maintaining a vibrant, organized, and functional learning space

Candidate Profile:

  • Completion of high school education
  • Minimum of one year in a customer service role
  • Genuine interest in media labs, technology, and digital creation
  • Proficient in macOS and capable of sharing knowledge effectively
  • Strong commitment to customer service with outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to unexpected situations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and fluency in French; functional English is advantageous
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods and engage with all age demographics

Compensation: $21.86 per hour

Work Schedule: 15 hours weekly, including weekends and one evening during the week
