Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

Jit's Building Maintenance is seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operations of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our work sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise cleaning staff to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Inspect sites to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness regulations.
  • Recommend additional services such as painting, repairs, or equipment replacement as needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist cleaners with their duties.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments and establish work schedules.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in cleaning or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Flexibility, initiative, and good judgement are essential.
Work Environment:

The Cleaning Supervisor will work in a variety of environments, including wet/damp and dusty conditions. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Language:

The primary language of work is English, and the successful candidate will be required to communicate effectively with staff and management.

Work Schedule:

The Cleaning Supervisor will work 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule to be determined.
