About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Driller to join our team at Impala Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for drilling production blast holes using an ITH Long-Hole Drill. Your expertise in operating and maintaining this specialized equipment will be crucial to ensuring efficient and safe mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the ITH Long-Hole Drill, adhering to all safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Prepare drilling faces according to established layouts and specifications.
  • Drill blast holes with precision and accuracy, ensuring compliance with government regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with the crew and supervisor to achieve production targets and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on the drill rig and associated equipment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating ITH Long-Hole Drills in a mining setting.
  • Strong understanding of drilling techniques, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
