About the Role

Norse Landscapes Ltd is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our landscape maintenance crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various other tasks related to lawn care and garden maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and applying fertilizers.
  • Tie and secure plants, and perform weeding, pruning, and trimming tasks.
  • Cut grass, remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Perform cleaning and snow removal tasks as required.
Work Environment

You will be working outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role that involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, punctuality, and hardworking.
Working Conditions

This is a temporary work term with 35 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
