The role of a Customer Service Cashier at Visionmasters involves managing transactions and providing exceptional service in a retail environment.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently operate the cash register.
  • Process various forms of payment including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
  • Scan items accurately for sales.
  • Calculate total payments for goods or services.
  • Receive and manage payments effectively.
  • Reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Engage in suggestive selling techniques.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure cleanliness of the counter area.
  • Provide a warm greeting to customers.
  • Package merchandise appropriately for customers.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in using an Interac machine.
  • Familiar with price scanning technology.
  • Experience with computerized inventory management systems.
Security Requirements
  • A criminal record check is required.
Work Conditions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Physical capability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.
