Opportunity Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and organized individual to take on the role of Crew Scheduling Coordinator. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our flight crew schedules and will involve collaboration with various teams to address scheduling challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily and weekly scheduling of flight crew members.
  • Communicate effectively with flight crew regarding scheduling updates and changes.
  • Implement recovery plans during irregular operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor attendance and address any issues related to crew member presence.
  • Maintain accurate records of crew schedules in the scheduling system.
  • Approve crew per diems and manage departmental expenses.
  • Engage in promoting health and safety standards within the department.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing human rights and employment equity.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office with a focus on Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with scheduling software is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining required security clearances.
  • Knowledge of Inuktitut is considered an asset.
