Pre-Construction Manager

We are a dynamic construction company, EllisDon, seeking a skilled Pre-Construction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our pre-construction team, you will play a crucial role in delivering successful projects and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure successful project delivery and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities for EllisDon in various sectors.
  • RFP Management: Review and assess RFP documentation, analyze project requirements, and develop a winning strategy.
  • Project Management: Manage relationships with clients and project design teams, assist in proposal development, and coordinate design solutions.
  • Pre-Construction Services: Lead the pre-construction service process for ICI or ICI-related projects, ensuring knowledge of construction scopes, scheduling, project management, and contract software.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a background in Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial construction.
  • Knowledge of construction scopes, scheduling, project management, and contract software.
  • Experience with legal/commercial agreements and negotiating contracts.
  • Familiarity with the Greater Ottawa Region market is considered an asset.
