About the Role

MANN ROOFING LTD is seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of roofing systems, including built-up roofing, single-ply roofing, and metal roofing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel, as well as single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials.
  • Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings, ensuring a watertight seal.
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level, protecting against water damage.
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools, ensuring a secure and durable finish.
  • Install sheet metal flashings to prevent water ingress and ensure a watertight seal.
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines. This role requires physical stamina, as you will be working at heights and in various weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing or a related field
  • Dependability and reliability are essential for this role, as you will be working independently and as part of a team.
