About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at Henderson Farm Ltd. as a key member of our livestock production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Handling and Care: Ensure the health and well-being of livestock, including monitoring animal health and administering medications as needed.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of livestock performance, financial data, and production metrics.
  • Team Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Client Relations and Negotiation: Negotiate with clients for the provision of services, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work Site Safety and Bio-Security: Ensure that all farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
