As a vital member of the Test Department at Evertz, you will contribute to the manufacturing team responsible for evaluating our innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and evaluate cutting-edge equipment used in film, television, and telecommunications, utilizing the latest industry components.
  • Configure and operate both specialized and standard testing apparatus to assess, diagnose, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems for quality, reliability, and functionality.
  • Document and communicate test findings effectively.
  • Provide mentorship to team members regarding technical procedures and assembly techniques.
  • Design, operate, and enhance testing jigs.
  • Engage in efforts to deliver high-quality products to our clients in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues down to the component level.
  • Adhere to established protocols and procedures related to testing and troubleshooting, including Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and AS/400 documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electronics or Computer Engineering.
  • Prior experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting is advantageous.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting methodologies and capable of interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong manual dexterity with experience using testing and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to identify and resolve root causes of equipment and product/process failures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
  • Thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
