About the Organization

Formet, a prominent manufacturing employer in Southwestern Ontario, specializes in producing body and chassis components for assembly plants throughout North America. Our expansive facility, spanning 1.1 million square feet, is equipped with state-of-the-art hydroforming, roll-forming, hot-stamping, robotic assembly, and post-assembly coating processes. Compensation

$45.42 CAD per hour plus shift premiums.

Signing Bonus (paid in installments, not applicable to Magna transfers)

Qualifications

Millwright Certificate of Qualification (426A or 433A).

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Proof of completion of a Mechanical or Tool and Die course from a recognized college program of 4 years or more.

A minimum of two years' experience as an Industrial/Construction Journeyman.

Experience with Fanuc Robotics

Laser Cutting – Robotic and CNC

CNC Benders

Hydroform and Hot Stamp Presses

Roll forming

Robotic Welding and component assembly

Power and Free conveyors

Automatic Guided Vehicles

Aluminum robotic welding

Core Competencies

Proficient in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems

Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy

Requires independent judgment and decision-making within established regulations and policies

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment

Experience in repairing and replacing defective components.
