We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the high standards of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to order, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality and presentation standards.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is handled and prepared in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and organized.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that all food is prepared and presented to our high standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment.
- Work Conditions: Standing for extended periods, working in a fast-paced environment, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, organized, and reliability.
