About the Role

We are seeking an Advanced Analytics Business Partner to join our Data & AI team at Green Shield Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and supporting data strategy initiatives across the organization.

Data Analytics

  • Develop and implement data solutions to drive business value creation
  • Translate business requirements into data solutions using SQL and data visualization tools
  • Work with large volumes of health and insurance data to turn complex statistical observations into actionable insights
  • Collaborate with data professionals to define data architecture and tools for highly automated and reusable solutions
  • Develop and deliver training on data visualization tools and techniques

Data Visualization

  • Design and develop actionable BI dashboards using Tableau and other data visualization tools
  • Leverage data visualization capabilities to transform raw data into relevant information and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Enable stakeholders to make key decisions with accurate workbooks and presentations of key findings

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to execute analytics use cases
  • Work closely with data professionals to define data architecture and tools for highly automated and reusable solutions
  • Translate between business and data technology languages to foster growth of business partnership

Requirements

  • College or university degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, statistics or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a data scientist or advanced analytics expert
  • 5+ years of experience working with SQL
  • 2+ years of experience using Tableau
  • Experience using data science and advanced analytics techniques using Python, SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
