About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Build It Back. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for designing, building, and installing custom cabinets and furniture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape, and form parts and components
  • Prepare specifications for custom-made cabinets to maximize storage
  • Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools
  • Instruct apprentices in woodworking techniques
  • Study plans and specifications to ensure accurate production
  • Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units
  • Sand and finish wood surfaces to a high standard
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture and fixtures
Requirements
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Permanent employment
  • 30-45 hours per week
