Position Overview:

The Direct Entry Captain for the King Air BE20 is a vital part of the Flight Operations team, tasked with ensuring the safe and effective management of our King Air BE20 fleet. This role offers a unique opportunity to operate in a dynamic and beautiful environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Pilot-in-Command, prioritizing the safety and security of passengers, crew, aircraft, and cargo.
  • Conduct thorough briefings for crew members regarding flight operations, planned routes, and any pertinent operational issues.
  • Oversee and assign tasks to Crew Members under direct supervision.
  • Maintain operational control parameters throughout all flights.
  • Ensure timely performance and achievement of flight objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Dispatch department, Air Traffic Control, Flight Service Stations, and clients.
  • Facilitate safety briefings and conduct simulated emergency training.
  • Utilize the Safety and Risk Management system proactively.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Must possess a valid Canadian ATPL.
  • A minimum of 2,000 hours of total flight experience.
  • At least 500 hours of Multi-Engine Pilot-in-Command experience.
  • Minimum of 200 hours logged on King Air series aircraft (100, 200, 300/350).
  • BE20 or BE30 Type Rating is advantageous.
  • Experience in MEDEVAC or Air Ambulance operations is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to relocate as necessary.
Regulatory Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid Transport Canada Licence and Medical certification.
  • Legal authorization to live and work in Canada is required.
  • No foreign pilot visas or sponsorships will be provided.
