Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Warehouse Worker to join our team at Acier Picard inc. as a Material Handler. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Material Movement: Move products and materials within the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Order Fulfillment: Ship orders and pick orders and stock to meet customer demands.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The successful candidate must be able to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and possess manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Equipment Experience: Experience with overhead cranes is an asset.
  • Weight Handling: The candidate must be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Personal Qualities: Adaptability, analytical skills, collaboration, efficiency, energy, hard work, integrity, outgoing personality, positive attitude, proactivity, quick learning, time management, reliability, and teamwork are essential for this role.
