Family Law Associate Lawyer Opportunity

Cox & Palmer is a top-ranked Atlantic Canadian law firm seeking a Family Law Associate Lawyer to join our Halifax office.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Associate Lawyer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in family law, with a focus on cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts, and all matters arising from the breakdown of marriages and common law relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day advice on a variety of family law matters
  • Develop and implement effective family law strategies
  • Prepare written and oral arguments
  • Work with clients to navigate complex family law issues
Requirements
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience
  • Courtroom experience and practical solution-building skills
  • Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • A compassionate approach to the practice of family law
