About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Gas Bar Attendant at ECONO GAS. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Process Payments: Scan items, tabulate total payment, and receive payment for goods or services.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and well-stocked environment, including restocking shelves and cleaning the counter area.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with Self-Checkout: Assist customers with self-checkout, including resolving any technical issues or concerns.
  • Monitor Entrances and Exits: Monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary, and verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Work Environment

As a Gas Bar Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
