- Develop monthly forecasts and analyses for EBITDA and production operations.
- Assess, uphold, and enhance financial systems and controls concerning inventory management.
- Review cost management practices and consumption patterns, providing recommendations for enhancements.
- Support corporate initiatives and month-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Maintain effective communication and quality service with procurement and management teams regarding pricing for chemical materials and energy consumption.
- Provide comprehensive support to team members through detailed cost analyses to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Assist in fulfilling internal and external audit requirements.
- Contribute to the implementation of accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) or in progress.
- Post-secondary education with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Excel with strong database analysis capabilities.
- Familiarity with PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong financial insight, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and capable of managing tight deadlines and multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated skills in prioritization, time management, and effective communication within teams.
