About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at AL Group Construction Inc. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces are in good condition.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Equipment Operation: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed to access high surfaces.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets quality standards, and make adjustments as needed to achieve a high-quality finish.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
