Job Title: Reinforcing Ironworker

We are seeking a skilled Reinforcing Ironworker to join our team at Treasure Steel Reinforcing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and reinforcing steel structures to ensure the integrity and safety of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to facilitate safe access to construction sites.
  • Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Inspect and test structures and equipment for deterioration, defects, or failure to comply with specifications or regulations.
  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures.
  • Unload and position steel units for hoisting and installation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and reinforcement.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in reinforcing ironwork or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in fast-paced environments, and with heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and reinforcement.
  • Dependability, reliability, and teamwork skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
