We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Vineyard Worker to join our team at Grand Pre Wines Ltd. As a Vineyard Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our vineyards.
Key Responsibilities- Greenhouse Maintenance: Clean and maintain greenhouses to ensure optimal growing conditions for our vines.
- Vine Management: Prune, tie, and secure plants to promote healthy growth and maximize yields.
- Weeding and Crop Management: Regularly inspect and remove weeds to prevent competition for water and nutrients.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Harvesting: Assist in the harvesting of grapes, ensuring high-quality yields and efficient processing.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and own transportation required.
- Work Environment: Outdoor work in various locations, including rural areas.
- Weather Conditions: Ability to work in all weather conditions, including hot and wet/damp environments.
- Reliability: Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of reliability.
- Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively with others to achieve team goals.
- Language: English language required.
