Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Health Care Support Workers. This role offers a unique chance to gain valuable experience and earn your Care Aide registration with our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse or another regulated healthcare professional.
- Perform a variety of non-direct and/or non-clinical healthcare supports to clients, residents, families, and/or visitors in long term care, assisted living and home settings.
- For applicants with three years of full-time instruction in English: English 10 completion or equivalent.
- For applicants with less than three years of full-time instruction in English: Standardized English language proficiency test score.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
