Job Title: Application Support Analyst

About the Role:

Venterra Realty is seeking a highly skilled Application Support Analyst to join our technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the service quality of our application suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor applications for service interruption or degradation and analyze alerts to determine if they need to be escalated.
  • Implement data fixes by writing and executing SQL to resolve data problems in our production environment.
  • Act as a first responder for application incidents and coordinate with relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify patterns in support to identify problems, understand their impact, and work with software development to prioritize fixes.
  • Measure the availability of our applications and report on them monthly.
  • Assist the acquisition team in enrolling new properties that Venterra acquires into our applications.
  • Build out our internal knowledge-base about application operations and keep it updated.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' previous experience supporting, configuring, and monitoring business applications.
  • Good understanding of relational database concepts and proficient in SQL.
  • Strong communicator at all levels with exceptional verbal and written proficiency.
  • Motivated and passionate about seeking improvements while understanding business needs balanced with development priorities.
  • Excellent analytical skills and technical acumen.
